I spent hours, folding and refolding all the impossibly tiny clothes and soft blankets waiting quietly for my baby. But what I loved most, was rocking slowly back in forth in the rocker and imagining him or her sleeping in the cradle or crib. Not yet introduced to the reality of 2am feedings and leaky diapers, dreams of a perfect nursery filled me with delicious anticipation. |
