Why Catherine Connors loves the silent treatment from her daughter
Getting the silent treatment, for most parents, signals the onset of an attitude. But if you’re a parent of a child who sleeps in Natura’s organic sleep envelope, the story is much different – and much sweeter.
A few months ago we sent Catherine some organic bedding to review on her blogs. She loved how it made an immediate difference in her daughter’s sleep habits:
“It was, like, magic, for serious. Her first night with Natura’s hypoallergenic, organic and body-temperature-adapting mattress pad, pillow and quilt? She did not wake up at all. You hear that? SHE DID NOT WAKE UP AT ALL. And now we’re nearly a week on using the Natura bedding in her bed, and every night of that week has been a full night of sleep for her. A perfect, peaceful night of sleep.”

We wanted to check back with her though and see if she was still enjoying the peace and quiet. I emailed her last week (in the middle of the heat wave in Ontario) and this is what she wrote back:
“She loves it. She’s especially loving it now because it’s cool and comfortable – a wonderful thing on these warm nights.
I think that she’s sleeping longer. I can’t say that the envelope has made it any easier to get her to go to bed, but it seems to keep her there longer once she’s in.
She has dust allergies and all variety of miscellaneous sensitivities to household allergens. We noticed a difference immediately once we put her in the organic sleep envelope. She used to cough every night – now she doesn’t at all.
We left duvet covers off, for two reasons: covers are just another dust attractor, and the bedding is just so silky soft and smooth and cool that covers would just get in the way of their awesomeness.”
Catherine went on to tell me she’s saving her pennies to buy a full King Sleep Envelop. And when I asked her about her dreamiest Natura experience…“Listening to the quiet of my daughter sleeping through long, dreamy, cough-free night.”
Natura’s Organic Collection is low on cost and high on value – made to outlast and outperform. Take Catherine’s word for it. She’s a mom and she definitely knows best!
