Organic Bedding

Daylight savings, daylights schmavings, we say. We need more than a free hour once a year to make up for the all sleep we lose every night. An organic mattress can help, but so can chemical-free bedding (organic bedding). Not only is organic bedding better for the environment, it will let you get your fair share of N.S.T (Nighttime Spending Time).

Organic for your health

During the night, you can lose up to a pint of moisture, which your bedding traps around your body. That damp, clammy environment can stress your heart rate and blood pressure and lead to disturbed sleep. The natural materials used in Natura’s Organic Collection work together to create an atmosphere free from thermal stress, keeping the body at the ideal temperature in every season and climate for a rejuvenating night’s sleep. Dust-mites, bed bugs and other allergens thrive in synthetic bedding but not organic bedding. Here’s why:

Natural latex

• Natural latex is naturally antimicrobial and
hypoallergenic – 300% more resistant to
dust mites than any other foam.

• Because of how latex is processed, the
   mattress breathes as moisture moves
   through the air channels.

Organic wool

• Wool is also antimicrobial – dust mites and
other allergens are repelled by the lanolin
   in wool.

• Wool also breathes, drawing moisture into
the core and releasing it to the environment.

Organic cotton

• Cotton absorbs moisture quickly and allows the latex and wool to process it away from your body and out of your bedding.

• Organic cotton is free from skin-irritating chemicals, looks better and lasts longer than synthetic blends.

Organic for the earth

Buying organic is slowly transitioning from a luxury to readily available. But what does an organic really mean in terms of its impact on the environment?

  • Wool – For every 4 lbs. of organically grown wool used by Natura, one acre of land is saved from pesticides and toxins for at least 4 years into the future. We use 8 lbs of wool in each Queen mattress.
  • Latex – Natural latex is naturally biodegradable, which means your mattress can return to the earth when you’re done with it –instead of clogging up landfills for generations to come.
  • Cotton – Conventional cotton accounts for 2% of the world's crops but more than 25 % of pesticides used. The chemical journey starts in the fields and progresses through processing and manufacturing.

Allergen-free, pure sleep. Natura World has developed an organic line that ensures a healthy sleep surface, safe from harmful allergens such as mold, mildews, dust-mites and bacteria. Designed to promote a naturally rejuvenating sleep, investing in organic bedding allows you to say goodbye to nagging night time allergies, and wake up feeling refreshed.

Organic Info

There’s an awful lot of greenwashing going on just about everywhere right now but buying a product that’s certified organic from a third party source guarantees you’ll get what you pay for. Natura is committed to making it easier for you to get the information you need about what’s in your mattress, pillows or sheets.
